I know many of you are of the opine that I only like supermodifieds. Not entirely, just mostly. I see sprint cars as the driving force and as the top showcase for the rest of the world to see. When someone brags about F1, IRL etc, I brag about sprinters, notably full up 410 WoO cars.
The shows at Bristol were epic. This thread uses the clips from racermac1988 on youtube.
PLEASE DO NOT MENTION THE OUTCOME OF A MAIN. SOME HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS.

I will post this link since it has an image that gives away a clue-or not- of the winner.

That was cool to watch. Wonder if today's tires and motors could handle that track for 30 laps? I sure wish they would do that to Bristol again.

That was an absolutely awesome sight. We camped out at the track in a tent, it was about 95-100 degrees. It's an unbelievable facility and to see it covered in bright red dirt was quite the sight. Super good show but extremely fast. When cars wrecked there it was ugly. PJ Chesson was lucky to walk away from his tangle with the inside wall on the backstrech. Going down to the pits afterwards and looking up at all those seats, and tring to walk up the banking is the only way to get a good perspective of Bristol.

Bristol was SO fast and the crazy part is they put more dirt on the bottom of the track compared to the top which made the track "less" banked.
I don't think it was 2000, but Jeff Shepard's interview after he waged a good battle with Sammy, the master of Bristol, and lost was one of the best interviews ever. "The Jet" was full of humor and disgust!
