Once again USAC/CRA will honor any legitimate membership card at this year's Louie Vermeil Classic for a pit pass. The email I received reads something like this....
We will honor all SPRINT and MIDGET current membership cards at the pit gate, but they must have the card with them when they sign in. People will tell you they left it in the car, they left it at home etc.....sorry. NO CARD = NON MEMBER PRICE. If they have a card they can get in for the $30.00 member price, but if they don't have a card then they will pay a $40.00 non-member price. If someone is caught in the pits with no wristband they will have to leave the pits and they will be charged double $80.00 to get back in. (this is for the guys who jump the back fence).
So if you are a member of your local track (ex. Petaluma, Antioch etc) or an association (ex. Golden State, Civil War, BCRA, etc) then bring your membership card with you to save at the pit gate. You can call Jeanie Hunt at (916) 863-7223 if for some reason you don't understand the fact that you must have a current 2010 Auto Racing Membership card in your hand when you are signing in at the pit gate to get the membership price.
