The Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series would like fans to be
aware of a recent schedule change. This weekend, Aug 27-28 has IRA at
the Oshkosh SpeedZone on Friday, and then the Wilmot Raceway on
Saturday. IRA will NOT BE at the Rice Lake Speedway Saturday
which appeared on the original schedule release. The Oshkosh event is
part of the track's Budweiser Triple Crown based on IRA's three
scheduled appearances, while the Wilmot date is the rescheduled Roger
Iiles Tribute event, the special 36 lap show comes with a purse increase
courtesy of Ken Iiles of Carriage Auto Body. Bill Balog leads Scotty
Neitzel in the IRA point chase, both teams having outstanding seasons
certainly worthy of champions. IRA will be at the Dodge County
Fairgrounds on Sept. 3 for the Stan Fox Memorial before heading north on
Sept. 10 for the annual Northern Nationals at Superior, followed by the
Sept. 11 Jerry Richert Memorial
at Cedar Lake. We look forward to seeing our northern fans soon at
these two tradionally outstanding events.
