All the stitches are out now but he has a minimum of two more months before he can put any weight on it. The open wounds remain and we're still waiting for a decision on whether or not he will need skin grafts. For now we continue to do daily dressing changes and monitor the areas in question.

Thanks for the updates. I - and I'm sure many have been concerned and wondering how Wayne is doing. I'm surprised they are going to let him put weight on that foot that soon. By the way - altho' I wish you could have been racing, I really enjoyed your commentary during the Nationals. Here's to a quick and thorough recovery.

Here is proof that Wayne Johnson was looking good at the Knoxville Nationals! Keep doing what your doing Wayne and you'll be getting around under your own power in no time. It was great to see you.

We go back to the Dr on Wednesday when they said they may start some light physical therapy which Wayne is eagerly looking forward to!
