Cody Morris, TULSA,OK (August 16 2010) - With 2010 Championship campaign duels as hot as an Oklahoma heat wave, the gunslingers of the Lucas Oil ASCS2 Outlaw, Non Wing, and Restricted divisions take their fight west for a two day showdown at Oklahoma City's corral; a lightning fast, high banked, red clay battleground known as I-44 Speedway.

And no Outlaw enters the two day shootout with a hotter hand than Blake Hahn. The 16 year old Sapulpa, Oklahoma winged warrior enters the event with a trio of aces up his sleeve; a career first Lucas Oil ASCS2 Outlaw triumph May 8th at I-44 , a prestigious $2,000 score in recent I-44 Mini Sprint Nationals Outlaw competition, and the Ace of Spades, a 32 point advantage in the Lucas Oil ASCS2 2010 Outlaw campaign.

Norman, Oklahoma star Christopher Bell enters the weekend hot on Hahn's heels, having hounded Hahn since the beginning of the Lucas Oil ASCS2 Outlaw campaign and also with his own 2010 Lucas Oil ASCS2 triumph at I-44 to his credit, an April 3rd Ryan Craighead Memorial score.

However, 20 year old Pryor, Oklahoma native Frank Flud enters the event within 86 points of Hahn. "The Legendary" Flud has enjoyed his own Lucas Oil ASCS2 Outlaw success at I-44 as well, with 2 of his three 2010 Lucas Oil ASCS2 triumphs coming at the I-44 battlegrounds with May 7th and July 16th scores.

Christopher Bell has proven to not only be an open wheel ace, but also the ultimate wildcard as well. Indeed Bell leads the thrilling Lucas Oil ASCS2 Non Wing class into the two day stand having won 4 consecutive Lucas Oil ASCS2 Non Wing main events. An overall winner of six 2010 Lucas Oil ASCS Non Wing events, with half of those coming at the I-44 battlegrounds, Bell's reward is a 60 point advantage in the Lucas Oil ASCS2 2010 Non Wing title chase.

Pauls Valley, Oklahoma competitor Steven Shebester has done his best to keep Bell within his sights. A winner of May 30th Lucas Oil ASCS2 Non Wing action at Creek County Speedway, Shebester has quite literally chased Bell to the stripe in the last four Lucas Oil ASCS2 events, matching each Bell triumph with a podium finish of his own.

Oklahoma City native Shelby Byrd chases the lead duo into the two day I-44 duel a sizeable 197 points behind leading Bell.

West Plains, Missouri pilot Logan Martin has proven to be the man to beat in the 2010 Lucas Oil ASCS2 Restricted campaign. A five time Lucas Oil ASCS2 2010 winner, three of those scores have come on I-44 clay. However, a seemingly insurmountable Martin lead in the campaign a month ago has, in fact, been nearly chopped in half.

Hulbert, Oklahoma's lightning fast Karley Kay Dobson trails Martin by only 57 markers. A very surmountable deficit, especially when considering Dobson has finished 7th or better in each of the 13 Lucas Oil ASCS2 Restricted events contested thus far in the 2010 campaign, including an eye popping streak of 11 consecutive podium finishes in Lucas Oil ASCS2 Restricted, including a Lucas Oil ASCS2 non point June 11th triumph at Creek County Speedway.

Chance Morton enters the two day stand third in the 2010 Lucas Oil ASCS2 Restricted title chase, 142 markers off Martin's leading pace. A 2 time Lucas Oil ASCS2 2010 Restricted main event winner, including a July 16th ASCS2 Restricted triumph at I-44 Speedway, the 12 year old Coweta,Oklahoma native enters the I-44 battle with his own very hot hand after winning the recent I-44 Mini Sprint Nationals in Restricted competition.

The 2 day Lucas Oil ASCS2 Shootout at I-44 Speedway begins at 8pm Friday, August 20th. With the Saturday, August 21st finale slated to begin at 7pm.
