Sorry, but I think its fitting that Donny finally lost by being passed. Its like somebody finally beat him. After winning four in a row, its good that he was in the lead in the end, and Shaffer had to pass him to win it. Just makes it more special than if Sammy had won. I also am happy that a first-time winner is the one to beat Donny, not just a guy re-claiming the Nationals.

That was the best nationals A main that I have seen in the last 20 I've gone! What a race, great job to the 83 team!!!!!!!!

That A MAIN might have been the best race I have ever witnessed... at no time was there a sure winner,, until the checkered flew. Alot of good tires left on race cars at the end... other reasons cause tires to blow..

One big difference tho, you can choose what kind of motor you want to run, but you don't have a choice on the rear tires.
