Are you going to also rant against Shaver motors for costing Donny the win? Because if Schatz is firing on all cylinders, he likely wins it.

One big difference tho, you can choose what kind of motor you want to run, but you don't have a choice on the rear tires.

If "bad year" would do there job Schatz's motor would not have mattered it was
check mate. Sammy won that race.

Sammy has plenty of excuses for going 0 for 27. Only one involves a tire.

OMG!! You people want to tell me that race was won with 6 laps to go. Give me a friggin break. My heart goes out to Sammy, but that race was not won by anybody until lap 50. We will never know how things would have materialized had circumstances been different. It is what it is.

Exactly.... the winner list would look much different if race wasn't won on last lap. There are always extra laps, engine failure, blown tires and Tyler Walker to deal with. It's racing.

Not to nitpick, but wasn't a flattened tire the reason (besides being run over by Mark) that Sammy potentially lost that race, as he had to change tires?

You are talking about a guy who ran out of fuel during the last Nationals I attended about 6 years ago. RAN OUT OF FUEL = didn't put enough in gambling on weight.. To suggest that he hasn't made a bad decision before and didn't possibly make one tonight is assenine at best.

Sammy was leading with Mark K right on his tail. A red came out and Mark got into him. The skirmish flattened one of Sammy's tires and he had to go to the back. Not sure of the year. Happened in turn 4.

If you are soooooo concerned about money oppermanfan, consider this: a basically un$pon$ored (money) car (no corporate $$$$) beat their (Big Game Tree$tand$, Ba$$ Pro $hop$, Great Clip$, Budwei$er, All $tar Performance, $TP, Parker $tore$, T$R, Ka$ey Kahne Racing), collective corporate $pon$ored a$$e$ tonight fair and $quare.....................David v$ Golith and and David won one.
That, my friend is what is soooo cool about this race, just my opinion and 2 cent$ worth.

Sammy was the story of the week and put on a great show, but don't take a thing away from Tim Shaffer. That dude earned it! Great week of racing!
