Looked like everybody that was anybody had Ostrich(sp?) racing engines? Is something new? Monkey see monkey do or what?
Both feature winners, and quite a few big 0 stickers on other cars.

I'd be willing to bet Kelly from Westphal will be along with a reply. He frequents these boards often. I would be interested to hear what he has to say on this subject. Kelly and guys have had a handle on the 360 engines for a few years now.

What motor was in that 81 car? He was 1.6 tenths quicker than anyone else. Time trials is all about pure horsepower and they have it.

Well I know it doesnt mean anything, but the trackside announcer asked Brian what he thought of the Ostrich horsepower when doing the winner's circle interview....but I know that doesnt go very far.

Brownie must have changed 410 builders over the winter. I know last year both of their 410 motors were Kistler. 360 has been an Ostrich for a few years.
