The USAC Ultimate Challenge is good to go tonight at the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa.
It's sunny and dry. The grounds are in great shape and we are expecting a awesome group of cars.
If you have questions call 515-957-0020
See ya tonight!!!

Thanks Lori for the info! Been wondering all morning! Could you do us race fans a favor tho? We know it's a party where a race breaks out, and the lovely women enjoy throwing the beads and such, but could you ask them to do the fun stuff BETWEEN RACES??? We had trouble last night seeing all three heats due to people who were more concerned with catching a $.04 bead than watching a kick-ass sprint car show.
1 Keep the show rolling and take weather out of the picture!
2 Throw the party BETWEEN the races!
3 More bleachers next year!
Thanks for keeping us updated!
Bye bye, Hardhat!

If you're coming up U.S. 63 from the south you might want to go through Freemont and Cedar Iowa. 63 N and S are closed between Eddyville and Osky. Or you can go through Eddyville turn north at the elementary school and then head to Cedar and then to Osky. Good luck and keep up the great races Lori.

Osky races are kickass! DONT miss tonights show! Back em in sideways, 3-4 wide in the corners, old time fairgrounds that present a natural aurora of racing the way it was meant to be! Wouldnt want to be any other place.
OSKY ROCKS!!!!

You may also want to note that Highway 92 from both directions is also closed. As a resident of Oskaloosa, the only way you can get into town is from Highway 23(Cedar or Fremont) or the four lane south(163) from Pella. Watching the crew pump the water out of turn four towards my backyard it appears that unless there is more rain all should be good for tonight. Just thought I would give ya'll a heads up on how to get into town....

Instead of going through cedar you can take the north eddyville exit and head north past the drag strip, take your first turn west and you'll get back on the 63 just beyond the flood area. Quicker than going through Cedar.

Yeah, but Tucson has "about" 10% humidity. Ask Osky what their humidity is today!
