The 1990 Knoxville Nationals winner was from PA; Hanover to be specific, and ol' Scruffy stole the show and the $35,000 it paid to win the Knoxville Nationals at the time; was my first ever Nationals, and one I will never ever forget!

Thanks for the memories Bobby Allen, the 1a sharkmobile sure did eat up some valuable real estate in the low groove on the black dirt that night, and was probably one of the most popular Nationals wins ever!

Leave the Nationals in Iowa! PA has had their Nationals winner, and if left in Iowa MAYBE, just MAYBE, a car and driver from Iowa may someday get the fans from Iowa their first Nationals winner.

When I used to go to the Nationals I'd pack a big box fan (I camped out), rain gear, shorts and long johns. You never knew what you might need there.

Last year the 10 day forecast was for clear skys and mid 80's....then it rained 7 out of 10 days. It does look like it's going to be damn hot this year. Everyone make sure you drink plenty of liquid! wink
