The 2010 Louie Vermeil Classic is just a month away and this year there are even more folks out raising money for the racers.
Once again Steve Howard is collecting lap money in Southern California along with some great items for this years auction. Steve is also offering incentives for SoCal teams making the long tow to Calistoga for the Labor Day event. The Wolleson family is back collecting money for each night's Mark Wolleson Semi. The auction and wine tasting will take place on Saturday with all profits going straight to the competitors, then on Sunday their will be a beer tasting presented by Budweiser.
Former car owner and NARC president, Walt Ross will be remembered one night during the Classic and his daughter, Sheila Fasig is collecting lap money in the Sacramento area. Another memorable NorCal car owner, Duwayne Starr will be honored at the Classic and word is that lap money is being collected in his honor as well.

Don't forget the auction...
Steve Howard, of So-Cal Performance in Downey, has been working hard for you, the racer, again in preparation for the Louie Vermeil Classic, which will be held at Calistoga Speedway September 4th and 5th. This event will once again be sanctioned by USAC/CRA. Along with his tireless phone calls securing sponsors, Steve has assembled a collection of items that would be the envy of any race fan. These items will be auctioned off in a silent auction at Calistoga during the race weekend.
