When I tried to set up to go to facebook about a year ago I started receiving all kinds of mail with malious attachments with facebook as part of the address so I quit trying. Weird - probably. Unusual - probably. I'm just glad I had a strong anti-virus program. I may be old fashioned - but I'm not trying it again.
Travis - surely it is good news. We're all pulling for you.

Here is the latest news as posted on the Team Travis Wall about 2 pm, 7/30:
Trav
is doing well! He was more alert and able to communicate better today.
Nurses are changing his dressings now, so he will be pretty sedated for
the rest of the day. Doctors are happy with his progress and plan on
surgery # 4 Tuesday. We brought baby Kinsley to see him today and he was
so happy! - Ashley

Travis wanted to see his Dad. Of course Greg is on his way. He also wanted a Subway sandwich---and they got him one and fed him small bites! It's all good! Progress is sweet, even if it is slow! He is scheduled for surgery again Tuesday. Continue your prayers. Thank you from the family!

Just talked to Greg and he says that Travis looks better. He just had a little of a milkshake. Good to have father and son together again. Family is everything!

Thank you so much for posting this great news about Travis. I guess he's not quite ready for that big hug I usually get from him - but Travis - that hug is there in spirit. We're all pulling for you and the rest of your family. Sounds like you are making great strides. Congratulations.

Just talked to Greg--Travis tires easily and is sedated today as the Dr.s were checking his wounds and changing all the dressings. Greg took the computer in to show Travis the Hosehead postings and keeping him up to date with all the racing news. He enjoys hearing all about the racing scene. Racing is in his blood! Now, the race is to recovery!!! He is scheduled for surgery Tuesday.

OK Guys---
I am starting to learn HOSEHEADS...I will keep you updated on the things I am posting on Facebook.....
I have attached a page regarding Travis' Benefit.....I know a lot of you can not make it but you can help in other ways....For example we need auction items....If your racing team wants to go in together and donate something you can do that....we need silent auction baskets, big ticket items such as t.v. grill..... if everyone throws money in....you can buy it online and send it to TEAM TRAVIS....I can message you the address....Also you can give monetary donations online at

I will also post a link by the end of today where you can get your
TEAM TRAVIS -Road to Recovery!!! T-shirts, stickers and bracelets...we will mail them anywhere!!
I just want to say thank you for all of the love and prayers. We will never be able to express how thankful we are. Although, it is very sad at this time because of Tyson's passing we are still in the fight of a lifetime for Travis. He will be in the Seattle hospital 3-4 months and then hopefully will be stable enough to move closer to home to a burn center in Dallas. He has a long road as well as his family. His wife flew home last week to get their 6 month old and now she back in Seattle. I have also included a picture of her when she saw her Daddy for the first time.

Travis' surgery was moved to Tuesday!!!! I will keep you posted...please continue to pray...this is his 4th surgery.

Thanks for posting all of the updates on here.
I wish Travis and all of his Family the best. I will continue to keep Travis and his Family in my thoughts and prayers. I hardly ever post on here- just mainly read, but I would bet all of the members on here that don't post feel the same.
Please let us know how Tuesday goes.

Surgery for Travis has been moved to Friday. Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers. check out the new posting about him "walking" today. Just posted it, and forgot to mention the change in the surgery schedule.
