RELEASE – Midwest City, Oklahoma – July 29, 2010 - On the heels of a very
successful appearance for the O’Reilly/NCRA southern modified division, series
officials and Checkered Flag Promotions CEO Ed Beckley have announced the series
will make a return trip to the Garfield County Fairgrounds three-eighths mile
oval at Enid Speedway Park in Enid, Oklahoma on Sunday night, August
15th, held in conjunction with the “Legends of Enid Speedway” night.
This past Sunday
night, July 25th, the southern modified division made its debut at
the Enid Speedway facility where 41 drivers competed with Edmond, Oklahoma’s
Todd Decker being declared the feature winner. Along with this most recent
scheduled event, the series will also make an appearance at the track for the
annual Enid Speedway Park Winter Nationals on Saturday night and Sunday
afternoon, October 16-17th.
Pit gates will open
at 3:00 PM with hot laps scheduled for 5:00 PM. The grandstands will open at
5:00 PM with opening ceremonies set for 6:15 PM. First green flag is scheduled
to fall at 6:30 PM. General admission tickets are just $10, $5 for children 12
