I know that Speed is showing the Saturday night of the Nationals a couple weeks after the race is over, but is there anywhere on the internet that is showing a live video feed from Wed - Fri? I don't care if it's free or costs anything. Wed and Thursday are the best nights of racing you will find anywhere. 60th quick in time on the front row and fast time to the rear. Reminds me of handicapping that we have here in PA. Just awesome racing those 2 nights in Iowa. Sorry if this was asked before...kind of new on here...Thanks in advance!!!

Tireman84--sorry I can't help you with info concerning internet feed of the Nationals--but, did want to mention, for clarity, that for the Knoxville National's two qualifying nights only the fastest 50 (not 60) cars make it into the five heat races. The balance of cars over the fastest 50 each night go to the back of that night's "C" main. This info is per the Kville Raceway's web site.

I agree with you that the racing on Wed. and Thurs. night of the Nationals is some of, if not the best, WoO racing of the entire season. The deep inversion of the five heats and "A" main really makes the drivers race hard to gain the needed heat race points to get a starting position for the Fri. night scrambles and a good starting spot for the Sat. night features.

These are the dates of live video feeds and their prices via www.knoxvilleraceway.com website. On the homepage click on the videos section, then you will have to click on Knoxville LIVE. You can use your paypal account to purchase. Just bookmark the page it takes you to as it has your code and if your connection fails you have to go back to the same page number. I have purchased it a couple of times to save some money and it is really good. Every once in a while it stutters but that is probably my internet connection. Also, you dont get to watch the race like you would if you were there as you get to watch the race the camera is watching. I hook my laptop up to the big screen so it is pretty nice. Would be awesome if they could have a dual screen with one camera on turns one and two and half way down the straights and another on turns 3 and 4 so you could watch the race like you were there. You figure a Nationals race is $42 a ticket per person so if you have 4 people watching the race it is saving you $37 a piece! Not a bad deal!

July 31: Knoxville Cup Race 14 – 410s + 360s | Available to purchase starting July 30: $9.99

Aug 5 (Thurs): Knoxville 360 Nationals – 360 Sprints Night 1 | Purchase starting Aug 4: $12.75
Aug 6 (Fri): Knoxville 360 Nationals – 360 Sprints Night 2 | Purchase starting Aug 6: $12.75

Aug 8 (Sun): USAC Non-Wing Nationals – USAC Sprints + 305s | Purchase starting Aug 7: $12.75

Aug 11 (Wed): Knoxville Nationals – 410 Sprints Night 1 | Purchase starting Aug 10: $19.50
Aug 12 (Thurs): Knoxville Nationals – 410 Sprints Night 2 | Purchase starting Aug 12: $19.50
Aug 13 (Fri): Knoxville Nationals – 410 Sprints Night 3 | Purchase starting Aug 13: $19.50

Keep doing that stay at home thing and you will not have anything to watch. If you like something support it.

Wanting something for nothing

Maybe we can get our President to write a check

Some of us that would love to be there don't have the time to use to take off work due to other family vacations. Not to mention that I'm sure a few of us have race cars that we work on or race during the weekend that comes first. The internet is a wonderful thing and thank you to Knoxville Raceway for helping out us people 1000 miles away that really want to see the first 2 nights of qualifying. Class act facility for sure!!!

Some don't have professions that allow travel to the Nationals.

Can't stand all this anti-TV for the Nationals. The nationals wouldn't be what it is today without the media coverage; more of it the better.

Love the message being sent "don't support it unless you are going to be there in person".... yeah, sprint car racing will last a long time with that theory.

The message being sent was go and support it, instead of sitting home; nothing wrong with that.

What I find odd is all of the people who think Knoxville is doing internet feeds out of the goodness of their hearts. It's a profit deal, obviously. Get all the people who won't/can't get there in person to shell out most of what a regular ticket costs is a great deal alright....for the track.

I think the internet video feeds are a win/win situation. The track gets a little extra revenue from those who can't attend (regardless of their reason) and the fans who can't afford to come for whatever reason or are geographically remote get to see the action live from the comfort of their homes for a small fraction of what it would cost them to travel and attend even if they could. What's wrong with that???

From my past experience in the video side of the thoroughbred horse racing industry I can guaran-damn-tee you that there would be very few horse racing facilities in business nowadays if not for the industry-wide implementation of off-track wagering and live simulcasting of their races.

with an internet feed at 1/2 price you could potentially generate more revenue than at the track itself, gate wise. Potentially that is, this is in its infancy. Kudos to K Ville for offering it, along with live streaming.

No live streaming on either saturday of the 360 or 410 nationals? That is the only night I would buy. That kind of sucks.

i would much rather pay 20 dollars to watch on computer then watch on speed .if you watch a live SPEED telecast just turn on dirtvision and listen clearly 25 minutes behind.CYBERCAST IT BABY

Those would be the two nights that are to be on TV, even if it is on tape delay. No way any TV deal is going to let them broadcast images online ahead of time.

First of all the car I work on is not a 410, so no we cannot bring it to Knoxville. We race here in PA or Friday and Saturday night of the Nationals, so helping the team out comes first. I made the trip in '06 and will eventually come back out. Until then, I don't mind paying to watch the first 2 nights online and supporting the track and the Nationals in some way. I think the Cybercasts by them and Dirtvision are a great thing. With the way the economy is, you can't beat the $54 season price for the Dirtvision video and $19.50 a night for the Nationals is a damn good price too.
