I have never seen this much hate, bickering, threats of violence, name calling, and vulgarity as I have the past couple of days.

Seems like on other occasions the racing community pulled together to pray and help injured folks in our circle.

I don't know what went wrong this week. Maybe it was because it wasn't an unavoidable accident? I don't know. We all have an opinion on the situation.

I propose we all forget about the details and just hope and pray for the young men's recovery. If you're not compelled to help with donations, I think that's fine too. Nobody's obligated to do anything they don't want to.

I would just hope that we can come together again on common ground and show others that race folks are some of the best people in the world and not a bunch of ignorant hicks.

I read it and I'm glad you wrote it. Thanks for bringing class and humility back to the forefront of our community. Some people on a different board were pissed at me for getting the initial details wrong at 3:30am Monday. WHERE, WHEN, WHY, & HOW are so incredibly unimportant right now. The only thing that matters is love, faith and healing for our friends.

IT is very sad and if i had money i would send some to help the familys. But for now all i can do is wish them all a speedy recovery.
