About 23 or 24 cars in the pits. 107 degrees with a nice breeze.

Good night of racing. David gave it a good run but kind of got jumped on the last restart. Congrats to Jeremy. Tough break for R.J. Johnson, he was on a rail. My wife made the comment that these (slower) ASCA (360) drivers are just like the USAC/CRA (410's), they don't know how to get out of the way.

If R.J. Johnson is such the great driver, and so much faster... you would THINK that he would know how to go around someone? R.J. Johnson rear-ended Severson, he doesn't know how to turn the wheel and go around other drivers? You say the other driver didn't know how to "get out of the way", if R.J. is such a great driver... shouldn't "HE" know how to get out of the way? Severson wasn't blocking the whole track.
Not only that, but what happened to good sportsmanship? I can't believe the owner of R.J. Johnson's car came over to talk trash to Severson in front of his wife? Then to stand in a group and stare at him the whole time he was working on his car. I was waiting for the owner of the car to come back anytime and say "meet me in the back later so we can fight.". They seriously need to get a grip AND grow up.

Wow, didn't mean to upset anyone. My wife wasn't referring to Severson, just her spectator observation of "traffic". She is far from being any kind of expert. I'm just glad she enjoys going to the races.
My opinion on the way home that RJ was too aggressive in some of his passes and thus it caught up with him.
As usual the PAS put on a great show. See you in two weeks and I'll just tell my wife to STFU.

In reference to the "Car Owner Talking Trash".
I am the car owner, and want to set the record straight. After loading our car and ready to head out I aproached Severson in his pit which was 15' from ours. I asked him if he had a moment and pulled him away from the lady standing at the rear of his trailer.
I spoke in a level tone, no yelling, no drama. I introduced myself as the car owner and told him that that was a "bone headed" move that he pulled and that our hopes of a
run for the championship were pretty much done. The lady on the trailer, apparentaly listening in spoke up and said " you need to
watch the video" my reply was "I will " and walked away. That was the extent of the conversation.
If this is talking trash to Severson in front of his wife as stated in a earlier post, I am at a loss for words.
It is my understanding that when you are given the move over flag, you are about to be lapped.
Why would you then try to race the leader, there is a reason why you are being lapped!
My reason for talking with Severson was so that he would think about this situation and not do it again
to someone else.
I never staired at anyone while I was in a group, not sure where that came from?
I am 54 years young, If Severson had a cane and was in wheel chair I might have challenged him to that fight in the back.
As for R.J. 's driving ability, anyone who has watched him or raced with him know's that he possesses great skill
and has a great future in racing.
I hope this clears up the comments made about getting a grip, growing up and how we like to throw that weight around.

If in pulling Severson away you mean turning him around to face you then you
are correct. However, it matters not how far apart the trailer was, considering you walked
over to where he was. As for speaking
in a level tone… fortunately not one of us there is remotely hard of hearing. I believe you talk louder than you think. That lady is
his wife, and she didn’t walk any where to “listen” she
remained standing in the same exact spot as she was when you walked up.
As for ruining RJ's chances for the championship, if he is as good as
you say… he will have another shot, its racing, accidents happen. Above all…
life just isn’t always fair.
You say Severson should have moved. How much more out of the way did
you want him to go? The track never opened for him to MOVE out of the way. RJ needs
to have more self control, and to wait maybe a second for him to get the room
to continue. If he would have been
patient he might have won. If someone is on the freeway driving too slow or blocking
you, do you ram them into the wall? I would hope not.
No, you did not stare at us, but everyone else over there did… I am guessing
RJ’s family and friends. Severson didn’t notice, primarily because he didn’t
care. However, it did make his wife uncomfortable. When I turned around and
said “WHAT?” they stopped staring.
Since you felt it necessary to give advice, I am going to return the favor. I would not
recommend challenging anyone to a fight. Most the men that I know with a cane or in a wheelchair are
Vietnam Vets, and they are ALL packing heat. It doesn’t matter if you are 54 or
104; unless you have a big red S on your chest winning a fight is slim to none.
I hope that clears up everything...

Clear to me. Ever since I've been driving I've known that if you hit somebody from behind, it doesn't matter what the other facts are, It's your fault. Exception on a race track, when (expletive deleted) happens in front of you and you have nowhere else to go.

What we really should be talkin about is how dirty Jeremy Sherman fed his right rear to his own TEAM MATE. Now that was uncalled for.

The certainly wasn't dirty driving, just bad driving..LOL He just made a big mistake in his excitment to get a win with the hounds on his heels... He was darn lucky he didn't go for a ride himself; very.
Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.

Bill......As promised the video is posted. go have a look for yourself then try and have a talk with your driver and not my husband. He can only blame himself for the "bone headed" move (in your words not mine).
