I got to make it over to the final night of action in the Dakota modified tour in Bismarck, ND, and got to watch the Gemmil boys in action. Brendon won his heat race comming from back in the pack to score the win. I wasn't there in time to catch Troy's heat but he must have did ok because he started third row in his B feature and finished a close second to transfer to the A. Brendon had luck on his side as he drew the A feature pole out of the eight heat winners. The track had turned out dry slick for the features but Brendon found it to his liking as he stretched his lead over the course of the caution free 30 lap feature. Lap traffic in the dwindling laps were the only thing that could draw second and third back to within 15 car lengths but Brendon would hold on for the win in dominant fashion leading all 30 laps. Troy would end up in the ninth position after working to gain spots in a very fast feature. Excellent racing by both Troy and Brendon. Congratulations on the win Brendon!

CONGRATS to Brendon on his win. A lot of good drivers there among the 70+ modifieds that were there. Cool to see a local guy win. LETS GO RACIN!!
