One month out m/l from the 50th. Who's it going to be? Shatz and Dude are struggling a little, King and Saldana look strong, Sammy looks good, Meyers is consistant, Haud is finishing up front often? Always the threat of an unexpected contender like K Jacobs a couple years ago. What are your predictions for a top 3? I'd go with:
1. Saldana
2. Steve Kinser
3. Shatz

Who has looked the best this year at the WoO races when the track is nice and wide like it will most likely be on Sat nite?
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Schatz! ... #5
Tie the King for most in a row.
The rest of the race is for second.

Either Sammy or Sides. The reason, they are the only drivers who finished in the top 10 both nights of the WoO show.

Past results do not guarantee future performance... especially at the Nationals!

Some smart photographer will make sure to get the following together for a couple of group photos to ensure no one can forget the families that have raced through the generations and their impact on the Nationals.
Wolfgang (Doug and Robby), Kinser (Steve and Kraig, and hopefully Mark and Karl as well), Swindell (Sammy and Kevin, maybe even Jeff?), Lasoski (George and Danny), Haudenchild (Jac and Sheldon), Dumesney (Max and Mitchell), McCarl (Terry and Austin), Madsen (Kerry and Ian), Jeffries (Lynton and Paul), Saldana (Joe and Joey), Shatz (Danny and Donny), Blaney (Dave and Dale)
On a serious prediction side,
1. Saldana
2. Sides
3. Shane Stewart
World Challenge
1. Max Dumesney holds off Steve Kinser for the win
2. Steve Kinser
Wait, I forgot, that was the Race of States back in in the 80's.

short1998 took my thunder.
Sammy or Sides.
My "heart" will be with any of the Cali boys but don't think there is too much of a chance for any of them.
(as long as a CALI driver is ahead of the top Posse driver. I will consider that a win!)

Wouldn't they have to have a non-rubberdown surface? (I couldn't resist the temptation)
J/K - hard to say who's looked the best when tracks slick up because this year it seems like the Outlaws are racing on a rubber-down racetrack by the 2nd heat, or they have a rain delay and the track is hammerdown and tacky.
Even when the Outlaws were @ Kville, it's hard to say who looked the best, as 5 or 6 guys could have won on Thursday night, but Schatz looked the best until he blew a tire with a few to go on Friday night (some guys looked like rookies out there both nights as the Goodyears don't hook up like the Hoosiers did).

1) Steve Kinser
2) Sammy Swindel
3) Joey Saldana
schatz will be the disappointment, back of A. the "old timers" will be running stronger than ever and will put on a great show. hopefully some knoxville guys can get in the A.

well when you put the best drivers in the world together who knows what could happen. all it takes is some fluke thing happening to one guy an all the top contenders could get caught in it. so i wouldnt count anyone out. if you can make the A then you have a chance.

Sammy takes the win, with Joey having used up his tires leading early, and TK using his front row starting position after having won again on his qualifying night to garner the podium!

1. Meyers 2. Saldana 3. The King 4. Swindell 5. Sides
Honestly it doesn't really matter to much as long as schatz doesn't win or even in the top 5.
