I received an e-mail today from the City of Oklahoma City regarding the Grandstands. The City is willing to work with us so that people can have a little piece of history. What they do not want is people showing up at the track thinking it's a free for all. This will be considered theft and offenders will be prosecuted.
They also do not want 25 or 100 people showing up to get something during demolishing because of safety concerns, so I will be the acting liaison between you and the City.
I am doing this for all of you on a voluntary basis so that you can all get a piece of your dedicated patronage to the storied grounds. I have asked for Bricks from the facade, sections of the wooden bleachers, and sections of the guard rail around the half mile track. All lighting, Score Board, and most seating and other equipment has been set aside by the City for a future track.
This is of-course is if the winning bid contractor is willing to go along, but the City will take this into consideration during the bidding process. The winning Contractor will have the final say in any decisions as it will become their property (material) other than what has been stipulated by the City to be set aside and stored for surplus for a new track to be built in the OKC area.
I will most likely be needing some volunteers to help remove some of these items and also a distribution center.
But for now List your name and what you would like either here or send me an e-mail [email protected]
Thank you, Allen Crawford

Ok. I would like 15 bricks and about a 4ft section of the top row section M. That is where my family has sat for as long as I've been alive and even before that.
Mr. Pickup can be somewhat of a distribution center. We are very close to the track, as I can see the grandstands from our parking lot. We don't have much space but could house a lot of bricks. We could use about a 20ft x 20ft space here for storage and allow people to pick up there stuff here. I can label and separate things by peoples names to ensure people get what belongs to them. Also, I personally can help volunteer to retrieve items. Have tools, hand saws etc... Allen, just let me know. My e-mail is [email protected]
Mr. Pickup address is 809 S. Agnew and phone is 236-3215. We are about 1/4 mile south of I-40 on the west side just south of the Oklahoma river. My personal cell is 863-6969.

I want one of the infield tires. I am pretty sure I knocked at least one front end down on every one of them.

Dale, bend over big boy I got a pair of needle nose pliers. lol
David, maybe Jamie will let you put the tractor tire in the front yard as a planter. That would add alot of class to your neighborhood. lmao
Jeff, thanks for the help. I have your contact info

I want the beer stand from the upper level north end.
Not the taps necessarily or a keg but the whole beer stand itself....
God knows I probably paid for the damn thing.
I might as well set it up and get some use out of something I have a vested financial interest in.... LOL
