And this one hurts as much as the others. I was just advised that the August issue of Fastlane will be the last. After almost 20 years as a unique, free publication, the combination of higher printing costs, lack of advertising, and advertisers who can't pay have finally caused Tammy and Kevin to shut it down. I really have no idea how Buzz and the kids kept it going this long. It had to be a labor of love, 'cause they sure didn't make any money with it. Buzz would figure up the advertising income, then figure how many copies he could have printed. His pension paid for gas to run his circuit of advertisers. The rest of us were volunteers, and those of us who donated our time and efforts to the paper were honored to do so. If it ever did anyone any good to see their name or photo in the paper, then it was worth it. I'll have more to say in the last issue, when I've had time to really think about it, but even though I half expected this to happen, all I can say right now is this SUCKS.

It never failed but every time I went in to Don Strawn Automotive Fastlane would be on the counter.
I am sorry to hear about the stop of a great publication
