If you are on the "dial-up" version of the board the reply box does not have the insert image icon ... if you are on the broadband version follow the instructions I posted above...
You cannot copy and paste images into this board on either dial-up or broadband - just doesn't work that way.

Nope.. that's a pic that I took a Lernerville a few year back.
No HTML involved... just clicked on the image with the little red dot in it in the reply window, which took me to a window that allowed me to browse pics on my computer. Clicked on the pic, and presto, it appeared.....

It's a habit, I still do it the "old fashioned" way and type the code for pics hosted on my server.

I have wireless internet so I suppose it is dial up as I do not have the insert image icon that you refer to. I guess I'm not sure what "broadband" is! Well thanks for the tip none the less..

If you have wireless, it's likely that you have some form of DSL, broadband, or the like.
So, my question is, how do you log onto the internet? If you have to enter a phone number, or use an automated routine that uses a phone number, you are likely using dial-up. But if you have a DSL or bradband connection, I'm puzzled as to why you don't see the "insert image" icon.......

Chuck
I have DSL, above my message box though all I have is an "Embedded video" link and 3 different "Smiley" keys, and a "KTML-safe mode" option. but that is it.
My DSL modem is plugged into the phone land line, this is why I assumed it was dial up?

DSL runs on the phone line backbone, but it is separate - that's why you can be on line, and still get phone calls. But why you cannot see the image icon or post photos confuses me....Try sending an email to Jeff, the moderator....maybe he's got some ideas.....
Good Luck!
