Good news everyone!! More WoO and sometimes WoO drivers have confirmed they will be going 360 racing. This past week, Tim Kaeding and Bud Kaeding confirmed they will be in Las Cruces on November 12-13 as will Jason Sides. Plus we got word a few days ago that Kraig Kinser will also be making the trip.

There are still plenty of rumours flying around about Sammy and a few others and as soon as we hear for sure who is coming to take on the Lucas Oil ASCS we will be updating everyone.

Tickets for the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour race at the Southern New Mexico Speedway will be going on sale in the next couple of weeks. For more information or if you have questions please call the Speedway at 575-524-7913 or e-mail the Manager at [email protected].

I'm not even beginning to claim confirmation; this is strictly opinion. Wouldn't suprise me if the KKR, Swindell, and Schatz all showed up. If Kinser is going, it wouldn't suprise me to see the TSR teammate there; even if not on same team. Also, Swindell and Saldana ran the Western World's last year so it wouldn't shock me if they ran it again this year and just toured their way down the NM. If Saldana makes the trip, may find McMahan in tow. Meyers and Sides wouldn't be a suprise either as both have had a history of running ASCS events when situation is right.

I'm not saying Emmitt Hahn is the reason Kinser is "invading", but I believe Hahn and the ASCS are getting what they were searching for by extending the ASCS schedule beyond the WoO. They have created the opportunity for their final three events of the year to become something sprint car fans/drivers look forward to on an annual basis. Anything to enhance sprint car racing in general is good to me.

I also won't be suprised if the WoO regulars don't steal all the money. There is a bit more to this than the driver and the Shane Stewart #57 and Jason Johnson #41 are quality teams and the ASCS format can be difficult to survive. I'm really looking forward to the backloaded ASCS schedule!

Shane Stewart?

He has had a chance..or two...on the big tour.

I remember in 08 at the Gold Cup when the Roths fired him!

He is a good shoe but seems to be a better fit in the ASCS over other series.

I think your selling Shane short. Seems like back in 08 nobody was doing well in Roth`s car. Seems to me maybe it wasn`t the drivers. Since Shane teamed up with Silva, they have become a very stout team in ASCS, and doing it out of pocket the first year! As far as I know they only did one 410 event this season, The Nationals , and they had a podium finish. Maybe second had there been one more lap. Not bad for an ASCS team. I`d like to see what Shane and Paul could do if they had the funds to run the WoO season!

ya, thats for sure. I mean, since "getting fired" from Roth, he's been doing pretty well............with a whole lot less.......................on all levels. Seems he found just what he needed and what money couldn't buy.

I got $10 that says he will not win this race. Even though he is the most talented , I think the driving style will be to different. It changes alot when you don't have all the ponies.

I'm going to put my two cents in. I have met Shane and Paul and they are pretty neat guys. I think they are doing a great job with alot less. Paul is extremely smart at how he has built his team over the years. Shane is extremely talented as well, I just think it takes good communication and a good relationship to make things work, like in nascar. They understand that they are doing what they both love and for a living so pick and choose what your doing, don't waste $$$ on stupid shit. GO ROCKSTAR #57!!!

P.S.- STEVE KINSER IS WAY OVERRATED AND HE AND HIS TEAMMATE SCHITZ ARE ARROGANT ASSHOLES!!!

I love the overrated comment!! LMAO What an idiot. No doubt Stewart is a competitor but he WILL NEVER be able to hold Steve's helmet bag, fact of the matter he WILL NEVER be close to the level of Schatz or whatever you want to call him. Get real man.

Steve with my grandson. My grandson has raced karts since he was 4 yrs. old he is now 10 and has always been #11 with a green kart. This night he will remember forever. I know because i have been going to races for almost 60 yrs, and still remember special races as a child. I don't think I would include him in the same sentence as asshole. Overrated you must have gone to races for the last couple years because anyone who has seen Steve drive in his prime has had their view of one of the very best.

I have also been going to races since I was a kid and he is or has not been very friendly at any point when I was there. Schatz used to be ok but now that his head is swelled by the fact he drives for TSR, he's just an ass. I was not comparing Kinser and Stewart just giving props to an under funded team that is doing things and going places.

checkered48- I never made this personal so for you to call me an idiot is just ridiculous.

Calling people assholes isn't personal? Let me rephrase what I said, that was one of the most idiotic, ridiculous posts I've ever seen. Now it's no longer personal.

I meant towards you or anybody on here. That is more correct and you and or others may definitely not agree but we all have our opinions and that is mine. As long as its a good race thats all that counts!

I tried getting Shanes autograph at Jacksonville, IL a few weeks ago and he won that night, but was gone before the fans had a chance to meet him and his team, GO FIGURE!

LOL

Send me your address and I'll have him send you a t-shirt and a hat. Autographed of course. "From your best friend, Shane" work OK?
