I didn't want to hassel with signing up so here are my thoughts about some of the comments I read there.
First of all, I am sick about the speedway. I miss going out to the ole girl.
Second, I will address the State Fair of Oklahoma. It's been years since I went. The reason for this is because it was like a small fair lately. When I was a kid growing up in California I remember going to the county fair. We lived in a rural, sparsley populated area. It was about like the fair has become here. Not much entertainment, especially since the racing was takin away. The place smelled terible last time I went.
Third is what the racing facility is compared to tracks I have been to this season alone. I could wash my hands after using the restroom. The restrooms didn't smell horrific. Most of the time they were cleaner than some restrooms at resturants. The racing was mostly superb. It has been the premier racing facility for years. I had a roof over my head when I was in the grandstands. Now I have for shade when i go to other tracks. Now you want to tear it down. I,personally, am disgusted about it.
Thank you Okc. and Fair Board for ruining a night of fun and visitation for me and a host of others. I hope your all happy and I hope you choke on any of the money you may be benefitting from this senseless destruction of our place of pleasure.
