Boen Dominates in MARS/NCRA Belleville Run

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Belleville, Kansas – June 6, 2010 - Four-time O'Reilly/NCRA late model champion Kelly Boen of Henderson, Colorado started on the outside front row, quickly took the lead and never looked back as he dominated the rest of the field to win the O'Reilly/NCRA and MARS DIRTCar series feature finale Sunday night at the Belleville High Banks in Belleville, Kansas.

It was Boens fourth feature victory of the season under the NCRA sanctioned banner and eleventh of his career with the series on the famed half mile oval. Terry Phillips started third and came home in the runner up position a half lap behind Boen at the finish. Defending series champion Kyle Berck finished third, followed by Eric Turner and Corey Zeitner.

The eight lap heat races for the twenty car field were won by Berck, Boen and Dean Moore.

The next event for the O'Reilly/NCRA late model series will be held on Saturday night, June 19, at Junction Motor Speedway in McCool, Nebraska.

Trust me sozo, I will have a tidbits editorial on this weekend of racing that took place. Be it 27 late models for $10,000 to win or 21 sprinters for an ASCS sooner region race and even more.
