Ok we have had the weekly bitch-fest about the way the track was at Lawton. Now we got a bitch about the pro's at Brill's. People hush. Thank your lucky stars you have somewhere to go racing and watch racing . Some of us have been spoiled in regards to the SFS and the racing that took place there. I forget where I was but I heard that very thing in that we were spoiled.
Many of us have been around tracks that have not been prepped to our liking and such.. You know what the feature was ran and we lived with it. I understand that money is important to everyone and that you value the way you spend it. If you are a fan of dirt track racing then you learn that there are conditions that you can not control, rather it be weather, water or what not. As far as the Brill's situation, can you honestly tell you me you can control grown men and when their eyes get big at the start of the race.
This type of stuff that goes on this board is why the City of Oklahoma City was the way they were in regards to SFS. I understand that everyone has a right to their opinion and it is their right to express it, But, however when there is nothing but bitching then people that do not know what is going on think ooh my god it is a total mess out there and we do not what that to represent our city.
"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands
in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he
stands at times of challenge and controversy."

Good job Erich, I could not have said it any better.
100 degree weather and 15 to 20 mph winds, guess what boys and girls it's going to be Dry Slick. If you dump a lakes worth of water on the track during the week you are only going to create ruts in the track. I do however agree that if you water the track after it is already Dry Slick you are only making it Greasy.
Water the Infeild to control the dust for the fans, but let the Track take rubber.
