Very interesting. All I can say is slavery is alive and well in the 21st century. Strange as it may seem this type of problem will not go away, in fact its only gonna get worse. The more we buy computers, TV's, cell phones, shoes, clothes etc....the more consumers contribute to the whole mess. I for one will not shop at WalMart, for the simple fact it sucks, and most of their shit is made in China. I try to avoid any of the crap/garbage that is made there if at all possible. Reality is, anytime you purchase something nowadays chances are some piece/part is made in China.

You would like to look in the homes and workshops of all these Knockers and see just how much Chinese equiptment make up their lives, its very easy to say on here that they dont buy any products made in china but that would be all B/S check the label on your clothes.

Some of you are overreacting once again. The point being made in my earlier post is we all need and use consumer goods/products everyday. But unfortunately many, if not most, are "Made in China"....In the end we all have a choice to some degree. We can ignore that fact or we can do our part, use our better judgement and choose the products we buy wisely. Its no doubt all of us, including myself have "Made in China" items that we own. We can't get away from that, but we can limit to some degree the quantity we buy. In the end its a personal chioce I suppose, but I will continue to check the lables when at all possible.

By the way congrats to Jac on his win.....Not knocking him or his team, just agree with cubic on this one.

I agree with Cubic...this hits very very close to home with me. The company I work for just informed us that they will be putting over 500 people in Wisconsin out of a job because they are closing their plant and BUILDING a new one in Mexico! Enough is Enough!! Whenever possible BUY AMERICAN, it does make a difference!!

sorry to say, yes

And all I can tell you about the high cost of American products (if that's what you're saying?) is that because of companies moving their operations outside of the US and folks not buying what is made right here..there might be 4 less people in the stands of many of the dirt tracks we visit next year....but that's just a drop in the bucket isn't it....til it happens to you. God Bless the USA
