What a crowd Saturday night! Pella corp always bring a big crowd but that is the biggest I've seen on a regular night in the 30+ years I've been going. There had to be 8,000+. They were treated to a great show with good racing. The announcers did a super job explaining the cars and format to the first timers. Nice tribute with Brian Brown running the #77 and doing the missing man formation for Jesse Hockett. Hope they've attracted a lot of new fans. Great track by the Dunkins again.

Amazing what cheaper tickets will do for the crowd. Hope Knoxville takes a close look at this past weekend. Big crowds and probably made good money on the concessions..
I wonder if this weeks three day WoO show combined will have the stands that packed?

Pella Corp. gave the employees free tickets for their family with the option to buy more at a cheaper price if needed.

Thank you Knoxville for a very well run evening! There were a lot of first-time spectators in the crowd Saturday and you did all the right things to make it an enjoyable experience and hopefully something they will want to return to again and again.
- Show started on time.
- No dead time. Each race pushed off as soon as the checkered flew on the previous one.
- Excellent announcers explaining things and giving basic information, helpful to people not familiar with the sport.
- Well prepared track. Exciting racing action with a lot of passing throughout the night.
- Very brief intermission between heats and features starting.
- Show concluded by 10:05.
It was great to see the large crowd and I think you went a long way in attracting some new fans if you keep doing these things on a weekly basis.
And thanks to Pella Corp for sponsoring the event and making it easy for your employees to participate. Great attendance. Well done and much appreciated!!

Great to see Pella Corp. making tickets available to their employees. Makes me even happier that I have their windows and patio door in my house.
There is a lot to be said for keeping the action moving. Very little reason to have dead time between races. I went to the track at Arlington, MN Sat. night because they had a 360 show that had 23 cars (about double their normal count). They run a lot of door banger classes, but the next race was coming onto the track before the previous cars were all off. No wasting time waiting for the cars to line up either. One lap around and you'd better be in position and ready to start because the green flag was going to drop! No second chance (during heats) either. You cause a yellow, you get black flagged. Still didn't get out of there until 11:10 due to a couple of accidents that took time to clear.
Decent racing in just about every class though.
Can't wait until this weekend, though. An all sprint car night, three nights in a row!!

What a great crowd! Here is a pic I took from turn 2 during the pre-race ceremonies:
Rome wasn't built in a day......but they sure didn't
waste any time burning it down!

The verndor lines reminded me of Nationals or a good turn out at a WoO show! The racing was excellent in all classes, and the announcers (maybe I just never noticed it before) but they were switching back and forth on the play by plays and were doing an excellent job of it. Great show Knoxville......
