A few years ago when my son Nate was driving my car at the PAS, Jesse came up to me and asked me if I remembered him, I said sure, you are Jesse Hocket. He said sure, but do YOU remember Me. Them he told me about when he was a kid, his folks used to bring him to I-70 Speedway in Odessa, Mo. where I raced when I was a driver and he came to the pits after the races and I let him sit in the car and autographed his program, hat, and shirt, He said he never forgot me and I thought that was pretty cool that a star of his quality would remember an old local driver like myself, and to look me up at the track and talk to me was very special. Jesse, I will never forget you either!!! God speed my friend! You were a hell of a racer, and one heck of a person too!!!
