Ok so this may date some of us here...but, How many Knoxville Natioanls have you attended and what are some of your best memories?? I have been to 42 Nationals only missing the year that Bobby Allen won...(damn would have LOVED to seen that one!!) My first Nationals I was 7yrs old and Thad Dosher won 1967!! How many remember the "Arizona Barns"? How many remeber "The Devil" always had his horse and even the horse shared a beer now and again!!! The skate pit.....Our campsite was where the ticket office is....My Mom was a great ccok and used to feed any of the drivers that were hungry......Steve Kinser ate tacos on the day of his first Nationals win!! Ronnie Shuman does NOT like Rocky Mountain oysters...well he did till he found out what they really were!!! LOL!!! and my list could go on forever!! The bus rides....Butt darts.........
