race over at 930pm. awesome track surface. really low car count. heard only like 39 cars total or something. some cars ran multiple classes of course.

12 Outlaw Multi's
19 A Class
15 non wing
4 restricted
6 mini stock
4 kid sprints
3 turf tire

Hope more cars start comin out. especially for the ASCS2 show next weekend. There was some good racing. track was extremely good and racy (tacky low and high with still good grip in between) - just wish more cars woulda showed. got out in time to eat some Perry's and still make it back to El Reno by 11pm.

Skylar Hale won restricted
Danny Drake Sr. won mini stocks
Nate Fleming won Outlaw/multi
Brent Venable won a great A Class feature with Trey Marcham 2nd. Jason Lair 3rd and Harli White 4th.
Tanner Ridge won the non wing A Main
Tanner Conn won Kid Sprints

btw heard Lawton had 16 champ sprints

One reason why we had a low car count was because Port was having an ascs2 show tonight, But we heard they had to cancel and guys couldnt make it back to us in time. If next weekend goes like the craighead memorial went we had over 100 cars that weekend so we should have a good turn out next week.

respectfully, you are severely incorrect wrench. there no ASCS2 race tonight at Port City - nor was there EVER a plan to. I should know man - had there have been - we would have planned for it all week. When Caney cancelled their ASCS2 races a couple weeks back - it stated on their site that the next race was May 7-8 at I-44 Speedway. There was never a plan to run ascs2 tonight at port - at any time. but I'll grant ya - every show at PCR might as well be an ascs2 show.......their fields are absolutely off the hook. It's a crying shame really - as I-44 is a WAYYYY better track. just wish they could get the field.

sorry man had to point it out - but i mean to respectfully, and like you - I really hope for a great show next weekend. especially friday. because if it isnt great friday - we will head to clinton saturday for ocrs action. it's birthday weeked for me and wescoe both.........we gotta find some great racing. We both hope this is at I-44. love the place and its racing - but man gotta get the count back up to at least something respectable.

not meaning to be negative, on the contrary i am very hopeful about next weekend. Its just after the weak turnout tonight - I hope a whole helluva lot of Tulsa heads down this way! lol.

Well i am just going by what we heard in the infeild last night, was there was supposed to be an ascs2 show in port. Like i said earlier, the last ascs2 show we had we had over 100 cars in the pits so we are hoping to have the same count this weekend. We are also hoping that by moving to Friday nights we can get bigger car counts and bigger crowds.

It was the best track of the year so far. Top and bottom were both fast! I hope we have that type of track all year!

Just want to add that there was over 150 cars a week ago and finished by 1130 for a regular Sat race. Last Sat was cancelled due to power outage. We did not have an ASCS2 race scheduled for this night. Hope to see you all next Sat....
