I would like to thank all of the racers and fans that attended the 1st USAC West Coast Sprint Car event @ Santa Maria Speedway this year. I hope everyone had a great time and enjoyed the racing.

I would especially like to thank the racers that participated with the fans on the front stretch at intermission. I feel that it was a very successful way of getting the fans to interact with the drivers, so thank you very much for helping me build the fan base for this exciting series.

We have had 5 winners in 6 races and I cant believe the list of drivers that haven't won yet!

Thank you Chris Kearns for being a "Promoter" who obviously cares about the show the fans are paying to see. I've raced at tracks all season long and never had the promoter come by once. You were all over that place working and checking in on the fans and racers. Please tell your crew "Thanks" for working so hard all week on the track and the pits. The intermission with the fans was awesome! We knew we were gonna have fun at the drivers meeting when you closed with "If you're gonna crash...Go big, and if you're gonna fight....please do it in front of the grandstands".

It's a long drive, but my kid really wants to come back, so we'll do our best.
