Why didn't Hodnett try to limp around and get a decent finish at Port Royal? He looked OK doing down the back stretch on the last lap. He had a nice lead. Did he wreck before pulling in or what?

Were you there? You say he looked alright going down the backstretch and then asked if he wrecked before pulling in. I'm confused.
Greg is one of the most intelligent drivers out there and my guess is, when the RR let go, he didn't wanna jeopardize himself or anyone else. Watch the video at paposseracing.com.

I'll try the video? I was there but didn't have my eye on him going into 3. Thanks.

Great video. I thought he had a bigger lead than he did.

He pulled the traction control out so he would not get caught and the motor shut off
