Very sorry to learn of Ken's passing. All my best to Ken's wife, his family and all his friends. He was a fountain of racing history. Hopefully someone will operate Ken's recently enacted web site so his wonderful black and white racing images will live on for many years to come for the enjoyment and purchase of current and future race fans. RIP Ken-- "the shooters group" at the NSCHoF&M inductions and at other racing venues will greatly miss you and Palmer Berger.

WOW! No doubt one of the greatest ever and a real historical treasure as well as a class act. Thoughts are with family and closest friends.

Ken was one of the true icons in the racing photography world. He was one of the biggest inspirations for me and was the reason why i took up racing photography. Even though he is gone, he will FOREVER live through his remarkable images. Thanks for being Ken, and thanks for what you did for our sport............Godspeed.

Sorry to here this news. Super photographer and a great man as well. I still remeber the first time I met Ken in the infield at Eldora. I could have listened to his stories for hours on end. A true icon of the sport. My thoughts and prayers to his family. R.I.P. my friend.

All I cans say is what everyone else has already said. He was a friend and a good dude one of the guys. He might of been older but he hung with us punks. Like one time he was following us back to Indy and about midnight we went by a Chi-Chi's restaurant with a sign out front saying 2 4 1 margaritas Midnight to close. We did a big U turn and of course Ken did too.

Kenny was a true icon of racing's glory days and an all in all great guy. He new and shot all the legends. His trademark pose was a 3/4 of the racer turned around and looking over the rear tire. I'll bet that there are damned few of the greats that didn't have one of themselves taken by him in their personal portfolio. He was full of great stories and it was a joy to listen to him relate them. He knew that he was winding down these last few years but he still enjoyed and accepted what he had. It took way too long for the SCHoF to recognize his achievements bud he was thrilled to make it while he was still on this planet. God bless a truly great one.
