With the 360 opener canceled last weekend due to rain, the local Petaluma contingent of 360 Sprint Cars have to deal with a different animal to make their debuts this Saturday at the Wine Country's Center of Speed. The traveling 360 Civil War Sprint Car Series makes its first of four appearances at Jim Soares' newly reconfigured Petaluma 3/8ths for the 2010 season.
This makes the 2nd appearance overall of the Civil War Series this year as Herman Klein holds the early point lead by virtue of his main event win in their opener at Placerville Speedway. Brad Furr sits second in points over "Double Down" Willie Croft, "The Shark" Sean Becker and Colby Wiesz. Of course, anything can and will happen as the year unfolds, so don't miss a lap.
Also on the bill with the Civil War 360's are the Dirt Modifieds and Dwarf Cars.
On another note, Petaluma Speedway's driver meeting will be held at 4:30pm as will be the custom for the entire year. Please allow an extra half hour for prep before hitting the track as the pit meeting used to be held at 5:00pm.
Adults $16, Kids $12, Seniors $10
See you there at the Wine Country's Center of Speed, Petaluma Speedway!
