It looks like Tulare WoO should be an exciting race with lots of drivers coming from all over to race! I wish I could go but it's just too far so I will try to go to some of the closer races. Who is planning on going? I looked at weather.com for the heck of it and I am really hoping the weather changes for the better by Friday! I just hate when there is bad weather on weekends!

Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

Can't make Tulare, although i wish i could, going to Marysville for the Open instead. Forecast for Marysville is high 50's and cloudy.

I live about 10 minutes from Marysville so I plan on going there more this year! Haven't been there in a few years so I look forward to seeing the new track with new ownership.

After a 5 year hiatus, i went to the "Wingless Nationals" at the end of last year, and was quite impressed with what has been done to improve the facility. Kudos to the Hawes family for what they have accomplished!

When did we start predicting the weather weeks in advance? Weather is constantly changing and hopefully it changes for the better! I have learned not to look more than 5 to 7 days into the forecast because it usually isn't too reliable wink

Exactly what you said! 5-7 days? I can't look past 3-4 days up here in Reno!LOL! I have seen worst forecasts though, and still took the gamble, and 70 % of the time it payed off with a great show. The other 30 % really sucked though.......................

It's not a matter of the weather on the race day, the fact that there is 2-4 days of that stuff and only 1, maybe 2 days of sun each week for the next couple that is the problem. The ground is already saturated and if we don't get quite a bit of sun to help dry everything up, the pits will be the main reason for cancellations. Chico may have possibilities on Sat if they pit in the pavillion and cut a push off lane to turn 4

lack of sun is the biggest issue for the next few weeks

some of us have to plan weeks in advance in order to have the proper supplies on hand for inclement weather
