Thanks to my teenagers continously getting on myspace and limewire and crap, my computer has another virus. I have taken it to Computer Masters but they take up to three days and costs me a little over $100. Last time virus was so bad I lost everything and I can't afford to lose anything this time as I have alot of stuff that I and my daughter needs saved.

Any recommendations on who to go to that is really good, quick and not all that expensive?

Thank you in advance...

Is your anti-virus software up to date? Your registry may also be corrupted. My computer was all jacked up too. I went and purchased "Norton 360" software and it done wonders....it was still a little slow, so I went and got the "Norton Utilities" software (registry fix, disk cleanup ect.) IT'S A HOT ROD NOW!!....Computer never left the house...

David go to avast.com it is free and the best i have seen. You can buy the pro version and it will keep any and all junk off your computer unless your son is not paying attention to what Avast tells him.

I put a no-lime wire rule in at our house several years ago. One of our in-house IT staffers told me that it can be a death knell for a hard drive.
