Tomorrow at walmart for XBOX 360, friday at gamestop for XBOX360 and the PS3 is going to be a downloadable only there the sony store but no release date is set yet.

I already have to game. I got mine at the bx in Barksdale AFB. bad thing is that my xbox gave me the red ring of death.

As a matter of fact, i was up at 5am today so i took a little trip to walmart instead of getting more sleep and whatdo ya know, there it was sitting on the self for $19.96 ready to take home.

What is it like? Can you run the bottom...are there grooves? Just like Ps2 version?

well i raced and here are some thoughts!
tracks are way different than the 2002 game... maybe more real, but williams grove seems too banked to me and learnerville seems off but maybe its me!
graphics kick ***
set ups are better with choosing from a soft to hard compound and alot of other stuff
johnny gibson is the announcer.. 4 abreast to start the feature with gibsons famous saying and there are 3 and 4 heats i guess it depends where u race at. 8 in each heat!!

yes it is coming out on the PS3 but we will have to wait little bit it is coming out as a Download on the playstation network. so make sure that you can hookup to the internet and watch the new releases on the PS3 network

Meatbag, how do you get your difficulty to be pro on the career, or does it get harder throughout, i have won the first 3 nights at volusia with ease and didnt know if i dont have it on the right settings or if it gets harder?

I've noticed that it starts getting much harder around race 8 or 10... must have built it like that so that its doesn't get people so frustrated right off the bat in career mode... looks like career mode is just one difficulty setting.

I'm looking for some opinions from you guys that have the 360 on whether it's worth buying the system. I've done some reading and the system generally has terrible reviews. A lot of talk about the Red ring of death and green tint splashing....I want to race but I also don't want to spend a bunch of money on a pile of junk. Any experiences or opinions would be helpful.

There is alot of talk on other gaming message boards that this game will only be released for Xbox. Any other information about other game platforms is no longer correct. This is just what I read, I have no real knowledge of this.
