Brian Brown – New Look With FVP in 2010!

(Bill W) January 28, 2010 – No need for an eye-check, Brian Brown has a new look in 2010, thanks to FVP! FVP will be the primary sponsor for the Brian Brown Racing #21 in both 410 and 360 sprint car events this season. SuperClean will stay on as a key component, joining the other partners for the Grain Valley, Missouri driver/owner's team.

The primary color of white replaces the purple SuperClean look of 2008 and 2009. It is a change Brian is excited about, not only for the car, but for the people involved. "This is really exciting for Brian Brown Racing," he says. "We've had a great two years with SuperClean and obviously they're still going to be around as an associate sponsor. We are turning the page a bit and we're thrilled about FVP being our primary sponsor in 2010. I'm really looking forward to teaming up with FVP in 2010, with the added bonus of promoting their great products and the great people who work for them.

Senior Director of Marketing for Factory Motor Parts, Joel Quetschenbach, is equally stoked, just like all of the FMP team members, and a number of marketing strategies should keep fans informed not only of Brian's racing, but also with the FVP family of products. "We are very excited to move our primary partnership with Brian to FVP in 2010," he says. "This year, we will be launching some major additions to strengthen our offering of FVP automotive products and we have some fun promotions planned at the track to help communicate this exciting news. Brian continues to be an important part of our team and we are very excited for him to help the fans learn more about FVP."

"In 2010, we have launched an FVP Racing channel on YouTube as well as FVP Racing Facebook and Twitter pages," continues Quetschenbach. "This will allow our fans to follow every move this racing season with Brian providing up to the minute results and videos from all of his races. You will also be able to learn about the exciting new products that we have to offer from the FVP lineup and where you can go to have them installed in your vehicle by visiting our Web site at www.FVPparts.com."

The #21 team has a tentative race schedule planned. "We're aiming for a similar schedule as last year," says Brian. "We're going to hit around 85 races in twelve states, and of course, aim for the Knoxville 410 title. That gives us a big base to market from. Hopefully, this is just the first step of a long term partnership with FVP."

The 2007 Knoxville champion also welcomes back all his partners from last season. Every one is a vital cog to the success of the team. "I'm also excited to announce that every partner that we had in 2009 will be back in 2010," says Brian. "That says a lot about their dedication, and every one of them is very important to the team. We have some new sponsors that we will be spotlighting as well. It's all exciting and we're working hard toward March when we start racing."

Brian's Q&A

Bill W asks: When are you looking to get the season underway?

Brian answers: It looks like our first races will be with the ASCS-Gulf South Series on March 5 and 6. March 5 will be at Golden Triangle Raceway Park in Beaumont, Texas and March 6 will be at Battleground Speedway near Houston (Both events pay $3,000 to the winner). The week after that, we will hit the two Outlaw shows in Texas (Kilgore and Baytown). We have our tentative schedule up at www.BrianBrownRacing.com.

Them 3 spoke front wheels are a disaster waiting to happen. Can't cut safety for weight savings!

Sorry, but I have to disagree. I wasn't a big fan of the SuperClean car last year, but this FVP car is way worse. I normally REALLY like white cars, but this thing needs some help. And not to kick anyone while they're down, but those front Weld hubs are possibly the worst looking things I've seen.

Not sure what's up this year, but this is nearly as bad as the new KKR cars-they're plain pitiful this year. Surely they're not the product of Shadow Graphix....?

Brian has run the Weld 3-spoke front wheels for two full years now without one failure. Don't know where you get your info, but it is erroneous...

Sharp car, bold look, not a lot of distracting crap. This thing looks like a bullet just sitting there.

Yes I agree They are alot stronger than you may think. I have yet to see one that has broke or failed in normal racing action. Even the 3 spoke wheel that Keisers make seem to hold up well. Better than I first thought when I first saw them. When I first saw them I thought the same as Meatbag.
