2010 Rookie drivers:
Cap Henry
At nineteen years old Cap Henry is quickly making a name for himself in the 410 sprint car world. The young gun had 26 starts in 2009 and made 19 A-main events with an average finishing position of twelfth. He had six top ten finishes, including a sixth and ninth place finish with the All Star Circuit of Champions. Overall Henry managed to place in the top ten in points in his Rookie Year finishing sixth overall at Fremont Speedway, eighth overall at Attica Raceway Park, and eighth overall in the F.A.S.T. series (Fremont Attica Sprint Title). Henry collected 410 Rookie-of-the-Year Honors at Fremont Speedway, Attica Raceway Park and The F.A.S.T. series championship. In fact, Henry has clinched five Rookie-of-the-Year titles in just two years of dirt sprint car racing.
Jerrod Ridge
A young gun that will be shooting for the Rookie-of-the-Year title will be Jerrod Ridge of Snohomish, Washington. Ridge will be trading his 360 engine with the ASCS and moving to the 410 full time with the All Star Circuit of Champions. In both 2008 and 2009 Ridge has finished second in the ASCS Northwest Region point standings. The Washington native also collected two wins this season in ASCS action at Electric City Speedway and Southern Oregon Speedway. In 2008 Ridge made his first start at the 360 Knoxville Nationals and placed eighteenth out of 125 cars present.

Yeah, I would like to see it to complete my race calendar on Openwheel. If anyof you know of any other schedules out there for me to add, please let me know. So far I have the WoO, USAC, ASCS National, ASCS Gulf South and POWRi. I would like to have every series on the calendar along with every major event. I haven't decided if I want to add local sprint and midget races yet. What do you all think???

Thanks! I've added the dates, however on the Bravo Taco Sprints, they show September 8th & 15th as Friday dates, when in reality they are on Wednesday, which seems a bit odd. Can you get a clarification?

You can add Red River Valley Speedway to the schedule on the 4th of August for the ASCoC. I would assume a trip to Husets would be around this date also...

I'm guessing those last two dates may be in October and not September.

The schedule at www.oceansprints.com does show the last two dates are in October and not in September as the Ocean Speedway schedule shows.
Also, FYI Pat, it looks like the turned around the name on the series sponsor for the Ocean Sprints. It should be the Taco Bravo series and not Bravo Taco.

hey mike how are you! hey hawk, lance jennings from scrafan.com has a site dedicated to the ocean sprints. it is www.oceansprints.com here is the link to the series schedule from that site. http://www.oceansprints.com/schedule.html
the official ocean speedway site is great, but if you want to just have quick access to the ocean sprint info the ocean sprints site is there for that. and yes mike has it corret, it should be Taco Bravo. i believe the series is officially " Ocean Sprints presented by Taco Bravo".
