Wouldnt have ever guessed they would have provisionals! lmao. Thats for his son Bud and Travis. Same crap as street stock nationals. Travis Johnson didnt make the A feature in the street stock nationals and what do you know James Longpine the owner desides to take 2 provisionals to the main and lets his son Bud pick and guess who he picked? Travis Johnson his new teamate this year. Second verse same as the first out there.

Better clarify the tire rule. If you run IMCA Sportmod current rules there is no scuffs allowed. As far as Hoosier 500 there is several of those with different compounds! Is it IMCA rules with the IMCA stamped Hoosier 500 or sprint car tires?

The tire rule is the same as IMCA, it has to be a IMCA stamped Hoosier 500. I know that there are the same tires out there without the stamp, as well as a soft 500, those tires are NOT allowed at this show. We ARE gonna allow the 8" scuffs as an exception . If anyone has a question feel free to call me anytime @ (580) 554-2451, thanks.

Kip,

Correct me if I'm wrong. But you told me HOOSIER 500, you never said IMCA. I don't care either way, just read your blog and can't figure out why you told me one thing and wrote another. I know it's your deal, but your gonna have some pissed off drivers if you don't do something about that BS provisional deal. Maybe you should let the drivers pick, or put all the B feature names in a hat and draw?? There's a thousand different ways to use provisionals other than that. In my opinion, you can't just have the track/promoter pick. We all know who'd get it. Just some thoughts buddy...

I may have told you wrong, I talked with Burt, our tech man, and we decided that it'd be much easier to police if we said the 500 with the stamp. Giving money to IMCA for their stamp does nothing for us other than being easier to police. I apologize for the confusion, if you have some more questions just call me up.

Does the $250 entry cover drivers pit pass? If not what is the price for a pit pass and are they different each day?

The $250 entry fee does not cover the driver and pit passes will be $30 all days. I think on the play night drivers will be $30 and the crew guys are usually cheaper. I spent 12 hrs today at the track today with a dozer, a scraper, two graders, and the sheeps foot, reshaping the track prior to gettin a new surface. The track looks 100% better already. We'll probably be there all week so if anyone wants to stop by and look at our progress feel free. If anyone has anymore questions feel free to call or text me @ 580-554-2451, I'll be happy to answer any questions! Thank you all!
