i just wanted to say thanks again for taking a couple of mins of your time that day in Hannibal Mo at Burger King to get me a shirt for my son. He opened it this morning and he loved it. He was so excited to have his first sprint car tshirt and it has Tmac on it . Thank you.

Yeah, T-Mac is a class act! Nice to see him working his booth and interacting with fans at the Bullring Nationals last weekend. Definitely made a fan out of me! Wearing my new T-Mac stocking cap with pride. If I'd known it would fit my big fat head as well as it does, I would have bought 10 of 'em.

I haven't always been a big fan of T-Mac on the track but he is the one driver I know that will go out of his way to help fans and fellow drivers/car owners and in many cases doesn't want credit for it.
He does it because he wants to not because it would be a good PR move.
My Daughter has been a fan of his since I started taking her to Knoxville many years ago and when I mentioned her birthday was coming up he did something for her that went way beyond what I expected.
I wish I could say more but all I can say is "Thank You Terry"

The real deal, a guy who gets it, a racers racer and a fan's favorite. Terry has a few haters born out of jealousy and stupidity but who doesn't? A true ambassador of the sprint car world something else he excels at. Take It Easy...

Must be the time of the season .... nothing derogatory posted here yet about McCarl??
He makes me think of my dad ..... would blow up and whack us (we had it coming btw) never anywhere but our bum and 10 minutes later arm around us and takin' us for ice cream.
He has never hid in his trailer after a bad night from my kids and yeah he gets mad at his nemesis for that night and then a week later is complimenting them on a radio interview.
Just an emotional guy for 10 minutes like my dad and then he's back to 'sharin' the love' with everyone ....... even his 'enemies.'

The night in question with Duane I thought Tmac had engine problems in hot laps. Smoke started coming out of his car in turns 1&2. Little did I know at the time it was No Dust! Sure do miss Duane on here.

Bet quite a few on this board had dad's like ours.
That's why we race and go to races..... not to Oakland Acres or the Civic Center for the Bolshoi Ballet performance ..... men were men and women were women and sheep were sheep .... and they ALL knew the difference (right on bro ??? LOL LOL LOL)

Terry is definitely 1 of a kind, in and out of racing. A great guy with a great family.
Wishing him nothing but the best in the coming year, and just hope that he can make it to Eagle once or twice next season.
I am lucky enough to work at one of the best tracks
anywhere.
