Even though I was told by those powers to be there is no saving and even though we are pissing off the powers to be, do NOT give up on trying to save SFS! Keep on keeping on and when it is said and done we can turn our attention to dissecting the MAPS3 budget and see how much is allotted where, campaign against these city councilmen when the time comes and go through the channels of having each member or agency involved in this audited.
Make it personal like they have done to us.

I think it will be pretty sorry, if the race track is closed all season long, and the fairboard puts on a monster truck show during the State fair!

The way i look at it is you bring revenue to Okc and im a Fan and i bring revenue to Okc so i signed it.

Everyone keep on keeping on. WE are making them run. There is some big wigs on our side that want to help and is very interested in this thing.

I live on the west side of OKC, travel NW 39th(Old Highway), if you travel that route I'm sure you have noticed the bridge closing over the north channel of the lake. Well, the city council voted this morning to fund the restoration of that bridge. While I believe the bridge is on the infamous historical register, it is time to ramp up the letters again to the mayor, council, fair board, state senators and representatives demanding that this type of activity cease when we can't save a successful 55 year speedway, fund meals for seniors, fund our schools, and everything else that is beind short changed so we can have a nice bridge to nowhere, aquatic pools for those starving seniors, a rowing center, and dangerous and unsafe parks for Maps 3
Also heard Emmitt Hahn on Racin Boys.com interview saying Lanny is taking legal action and Emmitt fully expects there to be a 2010 season.
