Yeah he was knocked out cold. The officials kept trying to get to him, they just couldn't.

Anybody remember when Billy Wilburn was supposed to be a regular at SFS? He was Rusty Wallace's crew chief at the time and I imagine Penske put the brakes on the plan, but he was supposed to come in Friday nights to run the Interim Personnel car. He flew in for play day, spun twice that I recall, and went home. I don't think he ever actually ran in a regular show. He took a really hard ride at the Chili Bowl one year, too. Some guys are just better off in the pits, I guess. If I remember correctly, Wayne Johnson and Bruce Jennings wound up with the Interim rides that year. Not sure which one was the "replacement."
