I though Martin in the #44 didn't show up until 1988, how odd it looks in his picture to see so much of his left leg. Like HK wearing a Doty shirt, but Sargent wearing his own shirt?

Sargent was sent down for This Race, somehow missed the opening Lap that didnt go a full Lap, #4 Tony Richards Borrowed an Earl Stanton Wing stemming from The Same incident that took Howard out. Will post the Sargent interview in a few moments

With all due respect Bruce I'm with Joe on this one. Martin didn't show up at SJS in that Sargent modified until 1988 and that track configuration didn't exist until '88 either. Martin finished second to Howard in one of the 100 lap races (I wanna say the Beard) and I believe the race that Mike is referring to is the Key from that year where Howard spun him out of the lead. I'm sure there is somebody with better memories than all of us but that is what I remember from that year.

Rick Martin was rookie of the year in 88.
