If you're going to Charlotte for the World Finals and you want something cheap to do Friday, Saturday or Sunday afternoons, then head over to Lowe's Motor Speedway to check out some awesome WKA kart racing.
The WKA Manufacturer's Cup Series is holding the SSC East/CRG Grand Nationals at the infield road course at Lowe's the same weekend as the World Finals, Nov. 6-8. People with a pit pass stub or grandstand ticket stub from the World Finals can get into the kart races for only $5 per day - pits and grandstand areas included.
Practice is Friday and racing is Saturday and Sunday.
This series is extremely competitive with racers coming from all over the country. Many features will start over 30 karts. For more info, visit www.worldkarting.com.

To get in, enter Gate P off Morehead Rd and drive around back of speedway to enter via tunnel. Park vehicle at infield parking lot and take in the kart racing for only $5 per person. Pits and stands included - no separate fee!
Remember to bring your Dirt Track ticket stub from Wed., Thurs., Fri. or Sat.

Another option is the North/South Shootout at Concord Speedway. They have East coast mods, TBARA wing sprints and super late models. Saturday is all A mains and they start early @ 1 PM. Plenty of time to get back to Lowes.
