Added Money for NCRA Sport Mod Finale

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Midwest City, Oklahoma – October 14, 2009 - Officials with the O'Reilly/NCRA sport modified division have announced a purse increase for the divisions season finale set for this coming Saturday night at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kansas.

Saturday night's Hard Rock Hotel-Casino feature finale will now pay $600 to win with positions tenth through twentieth earning $150. This increase in purse is due to the following contribution from the following companies and officials with the series would like to thank them for making this possible: Dunsworth Machine out of Enid, Oklahoma, D&M Race Cars out of Amarillo, Texas, Dirt Performance out of Enid, Pro Motorsports out of Wichita, Bills Built Race Cars out of Wichita, Smiley's of OKC and Hoosier Great Plains.

It will be the eighth and final event for the inaugural division that has seen five different feature winners in the seven events that have been held.

Chad McNamara of Blackwell, Oklahoma comes into the event with a slim twenty-five point lead over Amarillo driver Donny Raney. At least twenty drivers are expected for the divisions first ever appearance at NCRA's home track.

Also in competition will be the O'Reilly/NCRA modifieds and their season finale which will also see the battle for the points championship go down to the wire.

Dan Daniels of Humboldt, Kansas will come into the evening with a forty-five point lead over Wichita's Brian Powers. Also in contention are Don Renfro of Wichita, who is 100 points out of the lead followed by defending division champion Marc Hurd (Wichita) and Casey McClaskey of Ponca City, Oklahoma who are both tied for fourth, just 115 points out of the championship.

Also joining the racing card will be the tracks local 360 sprint car division which will pay $1000 to the feature winner.

Gates open on Saturday at 4:30 PM with racing set for 7:00 PM and remember that all grandstand adult tickets are just $8.00.
