This is one of the best racing movies of all time. A lot of the Midget footage was at old Carroll Speedway in California. This is a Sunday night movie it there ever was one.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_OFRxh5D2Q

Welcome, and I'm glad you had a chance to see it. When I was a kid you would find it on what they called the "late late show", along with this great movie that still play's on Turner Classic once in awhile. It's also at the top of my list.

I picked up a copy of "The Big Wheel" at Menards on a DVD rack a few months ago for about 3 dollars.
