Congrats to the Madera Produce, Ron Chaffin owned #50! Spencer made a great late race pass to take the win!

Can someone explain to me how you get your spot back after the yellow comes out because your spare sprint car parts are on the freakin track!

Makes no sense to me. Maybe someone can explain the rule a little better.

If I did not know any better, I would say the fix was in. How do you cause a yellow flag, and then get your spot back? Maybe the officials did not know whose equipment was lying on the track, or better yet, maybe it wasn't Swindell's as originally thought.

I was wondering that also. Maybe we can get clarification on that rule?

I was watching the USAC feed, on the restart after the yellow in question there was no left side nerf bar on The Puppy Dogs car.

The video was not the best quality.

I got a report from the track right after the main that even people like Mr. Wags were wondering what was going on.

Wow, what kind of crap is that? Is it the same USAC crew that officiates the races at the PAS? If so, why would they give a guy like Swindell a break? He doesn't even race regularly with USAC/CRA.

Clarification is most definitely needed in the case.

I dont know, I'am just guessing that maybe usac didnt want to piss off one of the few nat. guys that showed up.

Maybe it would have made daddy mad too and he would not let his son come and play next year.

What does the USAC book say about the cause of a yellow flag. He did not stop on the track did he? The flag was thrown because of unsafe condition on the track. Just because a part came off, I don't think he should be sent to the back. I was unhappy but stuff happens! Now what I'm very mad about was the track prep! You could not beat the weather, they can't blame the weather for the track going black!

What I saw last night was a wing show without the wings! Not the CALISTOGA OF OLD! Is the second night worth it? Just pushing the marbles back down on the HARD PAN CLAY! Then add water to it! The track was gone mid qualification on Sunday night. SICK! It was not the wind, it was not the heat! It was the track prep! There was no water down in the lower parts of the track so there wasn't even a bottom for bottom feeders to race on!

That was one reason I stopped going there! Sorry, that is why I pushed the weather thing! Being honest! Race Fans!

Now the pass that Spencer did, you could see it coming with the last 6 laps coming! What a great WIN!

Joe

You have to admit that was pretty funny when Hockett lost it all by himself.

I'll bet David Cardey got a little chuckle out of that one.

I could be wrong but I have always heard that if you are the cause of the yellow flag then you are sent to the back . If the part from your car came off and is laying on the track and the yellow is thrown than you would be the cause of the yellow . Just my opinion .

I alway's thought that the key words were "the cause" as well, or maybe that's a old NASCAR rule?

Duck Kenny, duck..LOL

So please help with this one (two) as I am not a regular USAC spectator. If a guy has a tire go down how many laps does he have to change it even if he is the cause of the yellow. Golobic sat. night midget. A guy runs out of fuel and it's his fault. How many laps to add fuel. Griffith sat nite sprint. Not crying, just don't understand the rules.
