thanks bruce for your work in documenting our participation in the 49th Johnny Key Classic. i am looking forward to seeing your stuff from the rest of the field, as i know you were busy capturing everything you could! we finished the race on the lead lap, put some distance on those behind us in points, and gained some points on some in front of us. i call that a good night! there are many that can't make that claim. we had a fair car and a smart driver and as it turned out, that is what was needed in that race. we started the race 13th, and that is where we were at the end of the first segment. i have been involved in many key races and i know that as the race goes on, things get crazier. so finishing is the name of the game for a team that is not among the top out there. we might have been able to make the car better in the second segment than we did, but we may have gone over center trying. as it turned out we put orselves in a bit more of a solid top ten position in points for the time being. with the civil war race at ocean speedway up next for us we know we need to have a solid night against the drivers we are battling in points with. a top ten points year against the competition at ocean would be great for us. we have to say thanks to the fans who stopped by to say hi and ask questions, take pictures and sit in the car as we had our car on display before the race. to hear the fans in the stands cheering and clapping as the cars went four wide on the main event parade lap was great!

to indy and beyond!!
