This email was sent to me by Muskogee modified racers Joe Duvall. There is a special Memorial race at Outlaw Motor Speedway this coming Friday night. Below is the information that he sent. Friday night we are having a memorial race for my Dad and Granddad. My dad started racing in the late fifties and raced until his death in 1972. My granddad raced a little later in the early 70's but died in 1993. Friday night is legends night at Outlaw so what better time to have this event.
The modified has a guaranteed purse regardless of car count. There is not an entry fee. Only the normal $30 pit pass. The purse is as follows.
1st $1,041
2nd $626
3rd $541
4th $426
5th $341
6th $326
7th $241
8th $226
9th $141
10th-20th $126
The reason for the "odd" numbers on the payout is Bud's number was 41 and Junior's (my dad's) was 26.
